The 2025 British Speedgolf Championship

returned to Sunningdale Heath Golf Club

on Sunday 7th September 2025 for a 3rd Year!

The British Speedgolf Championships are one of the most unique events in the British Golfing Calendar, welcome to a faster pace of golf: Speedgolf!

The 2025 British Speedgolf Championship returned to the magnificent Sunningdale Heath Golf Club, near Ascot on Sunday 7 September 2025.  A maximum field of  70 competitors, were set to take golf to a faster pace on this challenging but compact course. The Challenge in Speedgolf is finding the sweet spot of pace with performance, so it is not just speed! For the first time in the event’s history, the top-performing 20 speedgolfers from any category made the cut to play 36 holes (R2 in the early afternoon) and challenge for the overall British Speedgolf Championship Title. To add to the excitement the second round went off in 4 minute intervals – run in reverse speed order from the first round!  A Huge thank you to Sunningdale Heath Golf Club for hosting the championship again for a third year!

PGA Pros, a LETAS tour player, Amateur Men, Women, Seniors, Juniors and a 3 times GB Olympian – what a field !!!!

There were also players from as far as Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Belgium, France and Germany.

Another Championship first, was the introduction of ‘The Cut’ so only the Top 20 performing players regardless of their gender of golf status could proceed to Round 2 to compete for the overall championship title!
