James Hardy and Will Robson are the New British Speedgolf Pairs Champions

PGA professionals Will Robson and James Hardy, competing as Team North & South, claimed an impressive victory at the 2026 British Speedgolf Pairs Championship at Mid Herts Golf Club, edging defending champions Luke Willett and Luke Bone in a thrilling contest.

Demonstrating the elite standard now emerging within the sport, both the winning pair and the runners-up completed their 18-hole rounds in under 38 minutes. Ultimately, superior golf proved decisive. Team North & South returned a superb 73 in 37 minutes and 38 seconds, giving them a winning Speedgolf Score of 110:38.

The championship also highlighted the inclusive and community-driven nature of Speedgolf, with the field featuring brothers, a father-and-son pairing, a junior team, three mixed pairs and even a married couple. A huge thank you to our amazing hosts at Mid Herts GC, a real gem in Hertfordshire! A massive shout out to the all the players and volunteers that made this event possible, it was amazing to see such impressive results, sportsmanship and fun  had by all!

Congratulations to our winners of the 2025 British Speedgolf Pairs Championships hosted at Brocket Hall on Sunday 11th May 2025.

The Championship took place on their stunning Palmerston Course on a beautiful sunbathed morning.

Defending Champions PGA Pros Luke Willett and Luke Bone (Team: Sub 17) took the victory in style.

Kathy Leppard and Bev Fentiman (Team: Time for Tee) triumphed for the Women’s title.

A huge thank you to our amazing hosts at Brocket Hall, a superb venue, championship course and a club that made our community of speedgolfers feel very welcome! We also thank Mizuno Golf and Running for the prize vouchers for our winners and Slingsby Partners, Intellectual Property Law Firm, for their assistance in respect to trademark matters.
